Questions, answered plainly.
Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. Decoding, compressing, and packaging into ZIP happen locally in your browser. Your images, PDFs, audio, and videos are never sent to our server.
Why does batch processing take time?
Files are processed one at a time on your device to ensure each file meets your target size safely. You can cancel at any time and download results that have already finished.
Can I compress mixed file types in one batch?
Yes. You can drop images, PDFs, MP3s, and videos together into the batch queue. Each file is detected by its content and compressed with its format-specific rules.
What if one file exceeds limits or fails?
Files that exceed format limits or encounter errors are flagged individually and skipped without blocking the rest of your batch. You can download successful files one by one or all together as a ZIP.
